Bold & Bright

(First of all, my choice in bra for this outfit was a total failure. Sorry you can see it through the romper in half the pics.) Spotting these Jeffrey Campbell wedges on eBay was the closest experience to “love at first sight” I’ve ever had. And we’re going to be in a serious relationship all summer, as I can’t see any reason to ever take them off my feet.

I paired my cut-out wedge boyfriends with this one-shoulder, BRIGHT romper because…I like attention. Kidding (kind of). Cobalt is hands-down my favorite color of the season and pairing bold colors with bolder styles is going to be my M.O. this summer.

I have a definite love-hate relationship with rompers. I think they’re adorable, but the majority of them are just NOT made for tall girls with long torsos. I put on a romper and it’s instant wedgie and it’s all wrong. So, so wrong. It was nothing short of a Christmas miracle when I tried this piece on in LIT and it fit. A romper that doesn’t threaten to render me infertile is too rare a gem to pass up. Sold.

Ok, fine, maybe there is still a little wedgie action with this romper…

  2. LOVE the pop of color in the wedges. I have those wedges but in black.. are they comfortable? I did a post on them & almost broke my ankle.. twice. I can’t wear them for more than 2 hours! Love finding a good find on eBay for half the price, though!

    • They’re comfortable but deffffinitely a little challenging to walk in haha. I’m obsessed with the dress you wore yours with–so cute! Nice to see that another Bostonian loves high heels, there are way too many flats in this city! :)
