Patterned Pants

If you’ve been following along with my blog for a while now, you’ve heard me complain about my hair plenty. Not the hair itself (she’s ok), just my inability to do anything with it. I have many girlie tendencies, but an innate hair-styling skill is not one of them. Usually I just roll out of bed and hope for the best.

Well Check. Me. Out. I really went the extra mile for today’s outfit and—gasp!—curled my hair. But the best part is that I used a curling iron that I won at an arcade during my middle school years. Yup. I won spools upon spools of tickets by dominating Dance Dance Revolution and cashed them in for a curling iron that I still use today. It’s kinda embarrassing, but mostly just awesome.

And speaking of awesome, I impulse bought these AG patterned jeans when shopping post-happy hour one day. An arcade curling iron and drunk-purchase denim. I am a hot mess. But I don’t regret the lubricated swipe of my debit card because the soft tribal pattern of these jeans is perfect for summer, and the denim is so soft and comfortable that I could happily wear them every day.

To compensate for my ironed hair, I purposely didn’t iron my oh-so-wrinkly shirt. And by “purposely didn’t” I mean “am way too lazy to.”
