Sunday Squeeze: Strawberry Beet Juice

Strawberry Beet Juice with MintWith Valentine’s Day around the corner, I just haaaaad to post a “festive” red juice on the blog and cut strawberries into heart shapes…

Maybe beet juice isn’t exactly the—er—most coveted thing to receive from your sweetheart on Valentine’s Day, but at the very least, this will help rehydrate and replenish your body the morning after if you down one too many glasses of champagne. This juice combo is simple, but so, so delicious.

I have a question about juicing beets though,

I’ve seen some different beet juice recipes and some say that you need to cook/boil the beets or something before you juice them. I haven’t tried juicing a beet yet, but I want to! Do you do anything else to the beets besides scrubbing them?

    • Nope, just scrub those suckers down and pop into the juicer raw! 🙂 If they’re large, you might want to cut them into large chunks, but other than that, raw is the way to go with juicing.
