Hey guys! Hope everyone is having a great Sunday. I had a relaxing weekend, staying in both nights (that is a rare and glorious thing for me), teaching a couple classes at Btone this morning, and catching up on a ton of work and sleep. I love alcohol as much as the next twenty-something degenerate, but holy amazeballs does it feel refreshing to have a weekend void of hangovers!
Speaking of refreshing, I asked you guys to Instagram a picture of your favorite juice to be featured on the blog, and there were some mouthwateringly delicious posts. Thanks to everyone who joined in and shared a pic—I can’t wait to try these! We’ve got a good mix of juices and smoothies:
Strawberry, grapefruit and clementine deliciousness! And I might have to try this out with a splash of vodka—just sayin’ 😉 You can check out this recipe and more at Elise’s blog 9toFit.com.
Spinach, pineapple, plain yogurt, banana, flaxseed oil, splash of water and a spoonful of honey—yum! Elissa is a Boston fashion blogger with some serious style; check out her blog Style Wire!
I just recently started adding tomatoes to my juices, and can’t wait to try this one! Apple, strawberries, carrot, mango, tomato. Nicole has a blog as well—check her out at Deliciously Fit Lift.
Apple, lemon, lime, orange, strawberry, celery, bell pepper, beet, broccoli and carrot in this yummy citrus sunrise juice. Can’t wait to try it!
I love a good green juice! Celery, apple, mint and cucumber in this glass.
You can make this beauty with 1 beet, 2 carrots, ½ green apple, handful or two of spinach. Want it as a smoothie? Add ice and ¼ a banana into your blender. Check out Jen’s blog, burpeesforbreakfast.com for more healthy recipes and fitness fun!
Jen also posted this green juice. Check out the recipe here—you’ll need carrots, celery, spinach, kale, an apple and an orange.
A bunch of yummy drinks shared by this lovely lady! I picked out three for the blog post, but check out her insta account to see more. Up first, we have a pear, mango, spinach, cucumber, parsley combo—yum!
Green apple, kale, celery, lemon, coconut water, spirulina:
Last but not least, banana, almond butter, coconut, almond milk, bee pollen and homemade vanilla almond milk—YUM!
Thanks to everyone who participated—I’m thinking more reader-driven posts in the future–recipe sharing, workout sharing, etc. We all have a lot to learn from each other!
And before I sign off today, if you’re sitting on the couch eating ice cream thinking “ok, I’ll clean it up starting…tomorrow” ( that’d be me, almost every Sunday haha), definitely get in on the DietBet for some added motivation and support all month long! The pot is at $10,125 and still growing by the hour. I LOVE that so many people are getting involved. You’re all going to be looking and feeling daaaaamn good this spring 🙂
