Oops–totally forgot I had this post in my drafts! I’ve actually already gotten another fix since these pictures, but the batch of new clothes in last month’s Stitch Fix rocked. Let’s play catch-up!
If you’re new to these posts, check out the review of my first fix—it has all the details on Stitch Fix, the online styling service I’ve been using for almost a year now.
Market & Spruce Corinna Striped Dolman Top $48 = KEEPER
Is it bad that a major requirement for me to buy a shirt these days is that it’s long enough to be worn with leggings? Have I let myself go? Oh well. 🙂 This shirt is so soft, and I love that it’s long enough to wear with a pair of black leggings. For all of you who wear real pants, it could easily be dressed up as well.
ALSO WEARING:
Jeans are from my last fix! (similar here & here)
Booties are from Zara (old but similar here & here)
Gorjana Corinna Delicate Bar Necklace $60 = KEEPER
Keeping a pricier piece of jewelry is very uncharacteristic of me. Maybe I’m just getting old, but I’m sick of buying cheap $5 necklaces and having them break a month later. Why not invest a little extra in this classic, delicate gold necklace that I’ll get a ton of use from and is actually of quality, right?
Mavi Freida Tall Skinny Jean $98 = KEEPER
Gahhh I’m powerless when Stitch Fix sends me a pair of pants. How do they all fit so well??! Had to keep these gray skinnies.
ALSO WEARING:
Shoes are Mia Limited Edition (sold out but similar here)
Blouse is H&M (similar here & here)
Cropped sweater is Brandy Melville (old but similar here & here)
Bracelet is a thrift store find
Mystree Gerrie Open Stitch Sweater $68 = KEEPER
I have some similar sweaters, but what made me keep this one are the brown hues in it. I’m a black, black, gray, and more black girl when it comes to clothes, and as a result never have anything to wear with my brown and tan shoes.
ALSO WEARING:
Jeans are from my last fix!
Booties are Qupid (old but similar here & here)
Laila Jayde Jaspers Split Neck Knit Shirt $68 = NO GO
This shirt was the only item I sent back. It fit well and I liked the button details on the sleeve, but it just wasn’t quite “me”. The flair sleeves and split neck gave it a little too much of a hippie vibe.
*Prices listed in this post are the price before the 25% discount you’d get for keeping all five items in your fix.
What do you think of my latest fix? Have you gotten any good fixes lately?
xo Nicole
I think out of all the Stitch Fix reviews I read your clothes are the most amazing that I have seen. Maybe because it’s all things that I would love to wear, but you definitely have a great stylist! Also those shoes (Mia) are crazy (in a good way)! I love that first shirt and am all about longer shirts to wear with leggings!
My stylist is Layla if you ever want to request her!
love the open stitch sweater and necklace. you’ve got one wild collection of shoes! 😉
Absurd shoes are my guilty pleasure 🙂
I love these! I am on the verge of ordering myself a fix. I’ve been using your blog to crunch some numbers to see if it’s economical. Just a thought, if you had kept the shirt, you would have been eligible for the 25% off totaling $85. So not only would the shirt would have paid for itself, but you would have saved $20. Just curious if there is some stipulation I am missing where keeping all pieces wouldn’t have been more advantageous.
Hmmm I usually crunch the numbers beforehand to see if keeping all five is worth it, but maybe I miscalculated on this one! I’m in Stitch Fix’s influencer program because of my blog, so I think I might get a small discount on the total if I don’t keep all five (I should probably know this haha)–that might explain why my checkout process had me saving a couple bucks by returning the shirt.
I actually received that same gray and black sweater a couple fixes ago, and love it. My most recent fix was rather unsuccessful, unfortunately, and I sent back every single item. Loving the pieces in your fix though, especially that necklace.
Loving your style! I also admire you for being able to wear that high heels, I’d break my ankle for sure. I think the last item was ok but it just wasn’t your color!
Nice fix! You have the best legs for skinny jeans. My fix was a bust this month .. sent all 5 items back .. oh, well can’t win ’em all.
Monica
Aw you’re too sweet! I had a couple fix busts a few months ago–it’s such a bummer with all the excitement leading up to opening the box. Hopefully your next one will be spot-on! 🙂
Okay, I love the gold bar necklace. So delicate!
Yes – this was the first month I kept all 5 pieces!
That gray and black shirt was in my first fix and I still love it! I’ve had two pretty good boxes and two not so good boxes. Willing to try it again, though!
I love that lace top! Well everything in this post is so cute though!! Thanks for the inspiration (:

Your black and gray dolman came in a fix of mine a few months back, only it was navy with white stripes. I ended up keeping it; so comfy and flattering. The price was reasonable, too.
Super cute across the board – I really like the open stitch sweater.
I just got my 3rd fix and am smitten. I can’t wait to get my next one.
I have a health blog and decided to figure out a way to start blogging my fixes – you have definitely done a good job with your posts. So much fun – can’t wait to join the party 😉
I love stitchfix.. although Ive haven’t had as good luck with fit/style.. I am 5 8 and the items haven’t fit.. are you tall? the items fit you great…
I am — I’m 5′ 9″. With the jeans, I usually go with skinny leg so that it’s ok if the length is a little short. 🙂
oh my gosh.. actually 5 8 3/4 so very close to your height.. please please give some tips where to find tall clothes for tall athletic build!!!! Love your style I will look back on all your posts.. is there somewhere for me to follow you??? thanks so much
