Ah, the end of the year. A time when it’s acceptable for lazy bloggers everywhere to recycle old posts in the form of “Best Of” lists. Don’t mind if I do…
These were the most popular P&I workouts of 2013 (most pageviews, social shares, etc.). I tried to compile a list of my personal favorites to see how they stacked up to each other, but honestly couldn’t pick just five. Depending on my mood, schedule and the day, I like all my little workout tutorial lovechildren. Here were the Internet’s favorites this year:
500-Rep Kettlebell Workout
Honestly, I think this workout tutorial gained its popularity because of the Mean Girls shirt I’m wearing—so many inquiries to this day about where I got it (Skreened.com). But it’s a kickass workout as well, and totally deserving of a spot on this list.
Medicine Ball Interval Workout
I love that this made the cut for the second year in a row. It’s the first workout I ever shared, and the post of mine that got freshly pressed by WordPress back in the day, giving my blog its first exposure boost ever. I love that stupid little med ball post.
8-Minute Abs 2.0
It’s been pinned almost 200k times on Pinterest, but based on the comments and emails I received, I have a sneaking suspicion it’s the leggings I’m wearing—not the actual workout—that made this tutorial so popular this year.
30-Minute Bodyweight Tabata Workout
Everyone loves a good bodyweight workout! You can do them anywhere, don’t need any equipment, and this one is especially challenging.
15-Minute Ab Workout
Due in part to being featured by BuzzFeed.com, this workout tutorial snags the number one spot of the year. It’s a core crusher and one I still love to revisit.
What was your favorite P&I workout this year?

Really like the med ball work out. I was picking up a jump rope and saw the med balls thinking you need two people to use the ball .. but apparently not 😛
Monica.
Well, I must not have been following you for these – so excited to try some new workouts!!
Really great workouts!
Cheers,

I just got a Gymboss timer for my birthday; I asked for one after reading about them on your blog. Since I recently discovered your blog, I’ve really enjoyed some of the workouts. I’ve always avoided workouts divided up by time instead of reps but now that I have my Gymboss I can’t wait to try some of your timed workouts as well!
You have a great blog and the personality that shows through your writing style really reminds me of my sister and me, so it’s fun for me to read 🙂
Merry Christmas Nicole!
Aw thank you so much! Love hearing that you enjoy my blog–Merry Christmas to you, too! 🙂
I am seriously considering doing a blog post about how awesome your workouts and my attempt at them. I wonder if that would be alright? I am an active follower of your blog! 🙂

Of course it’d be alright! Can’t wait to check it out! 🙂
Such great ones! Would love to know which ones you revisit the most.
