Top 10 Most Popular Posts of 2015

top-10-popular-blog-posts-2015Even though 2015 brought the highest traffic numbers this blog as ever seen, none of the most popular posts (based on number of views) were actually published this year–all are older. I think a big reason is because as more and more people enter this crazy world of blogging, it’s a lot harder to get things to go viral (in my experience, anyway). Back when I started making the long workout pictorials, not a lot of other people were doing it that way so seriously 8 out of 10 would go viral on Pinterest. Ahh, the good ol’ days!

I like that blogging (and any profession related to tech and the internet) is constantly changing and there’s always this adapt-or-die necessity. I think I’d get bored otherwise. So what’s next? Video is king so it may be time to stop talking about it and actually do this whole YouTube thing.

Anyway, let’s celebrate the most popular posts this year!

The most popular post published this year was by far and away The Lululemon Warehouse Sale: The Dramatic Tale of a Basic B*tch Scorned. I’m definitely going to do more funny posts like this, but I can’t force them or it’ll be clear I’m trying too hard and the humor won’t be there. So no promises about their frequency, but I’m so, so happy the Lulu one was a hit because I love this type of writing! :)

Thank you all so much for an amazing year! I wouldn’t be able to do this without you!
