You can now get access to more workout videos by becoming a Patreon member! All the info you need is included in the above video, but I’ll summarize below as well.
Patreon Membership Overview
For $9.99/month, you’ll get:
- 6 workout classes, sent out on the 1st of the month – These will be links to private YouTube videos. By keeping the videos on the YouTube platform, you’ll be able to access them easily via computer, smartphone, tablet and smart tv (anywhere you can get YouTube).
- Unlimited access to the full Patreon library of workout videos – In addition to the 6 new videos sent out, you can also access the previous months’ videos (so this becomes a perk in September).
- A monthly workout calendar – For those looking for some guidance in programming a workout routine, I’ll send out a clickable pdf calendar. Especially at first, this will be a mix of Patreon workouts and workout videos that I’ve shared to YouTube over the years.
- Bonus videos halfway through each month – Around the 15th of the month, 1-3 bonus videos will drop. These could be additional workouts, mobility routines, or anything else Patreon members request.
What to Expect from the Workout Videos
This applies to my Patreon and my YouTube channel. Over the years I’ve posted a wide variety of workouts and formats. That variety will continue! However, I’m going to organize things a bit so that it’s easier to identify workout structures you love.
For example, the videos I’ve been posting a bunch during quarantine where you do 3-4 exercises for 30 seconds each back-to-back will now be called Functional Circuits Class. So you see the class name and immediately know what to expect.
Another improvement is that the workout videos I post moving forward will have more of a class feel, in that a warm up and cool down will be included. Up until now, I’ve had you sorta piece together workouts: I have a few warm up videos on my channel; the workout videos just jump right into the work; and I have some separate guided cool down videos, too. Those are all great, but there is value in doing a warm up that is designed with the specific type of movement you’ll be doing during the workout in mind.
It is my responsibility as your trainer to provide you with the safest and most effective workout possible from start to finish—and that includes preparing our bodies for the work ahead.
This means the videos will all be longer than you’re used to. It’s still the quick, effective workouts you love! Just with a warm up and cool down tacked on. 🙂
Payment & Cancellation Policies
This is important: Patreon will charge you $9.99 upon signing up, and then moving forward, that charge will occur on the 1st of each month. I know that’s not ideal if you sign up towards the end of the month, so please keep it in mind. If it’s September 30th, for example, just wait to join on October 1st so you don’t get two charges back to back.
You can cancel any time. And if you cancel before the end of the month, you still have access for the remainder of that month. I.e. If you cancel on August 10th, you can still access everything through August 31st.
What does this mean for the YouTube channel?
I’m still going to share free workout videos to YouTube! I’ve spent the last several years working on my channel, I’m so proud of the library of videos I’ve built, and that isn’t going anywhere. New videos may not be shared every Monday, but at the very least, two new free YouTube workout classes will be posted every month.
The classes shared on YouTube will reflect what’s new that month on Patreon. For example, I’m sharing a HIIT Superset Class on YouTube next Monday. If you love that class, you can sign up for Patreon to get three more of them (plus three classes of a different format).
I love creating workout videos for you all, and Patreon will allow me to continue doing so at a higher volume. I’m so appreciative of your support, and am here to answer any questions you may have!
