Juice might not be the typical Sunday Funday beverage, but I’ve got another yummy green one for you today! This week I made the fatal mistake of going to Whole Foods hungry and left with five trillion bazillion dollars worth of produce that I’m determined to not let go to waste. Oh, hello there, juicer.
Ingredients
- 1 small apple
- 1 lemon, peeled
- 2 kiwis, peeled
- 3 kale leaves
- 6 parsley stalks
- 3 chard leaves
- ½ cucumber
- Wheatgrass (a clump about a dime’s width)
Instructions
- Run everything through your juicer. Ball up the wheatgrass into a little knot before putting through the appliance for the biggest juice yield.
After a green juice and some breakfast, I’m off to teach a couple classes at Btone today. A nice healthy start to my Sunday that I’ll probably completely cancel out later on with some real Sunday Funday drinks. 😉

I love a very similar juice, so my guess is I’ll find this one very tasty too! No wheatgrass here though… Do use a wheatgerm oil supplement every morning.
This is a timely post! I read today that 1 oz of wheatgrass juice has as many nutrients as 2 1/2 pounds of vegetables. Then I thought, “I wonder if I can put wheatgrass in my juicer…”
Thanks for answering my question!
