I got three awesome keepers in the Stitch Fix delivery I received last month so cue the faux fashion blogger pictures …
Adalia Striped Blanket Scarf by Echo ($38)
Not to get all Silence of the Lambs on you, but I want to sew this to my skin so that I never have to remove it from my body. I wanted a neutral oversized blanket scarf for this winter and Stitch Fix read my mind with this one. So cozy and warm!

Pirie Cutout Tuxedo Vest by BRIXON IVY ($64)
I love the side cutout details on this vest! It can be easily dressed up for a fancier occasion or worn with casual basics.

OR YOU COULD WEAR IT WITH…
WAIT FOR IT…
WAIT FOR IT…
These. Pants.
I feel like MC Hammer, Aladdin and a peacock had a weird ménage à trois and the result was these pants. So wrong, but so right. I bought them from a man selling trinkets on the beach in Costa Rica (I spotted different prints of them in all the gift shops, too) and Joe was actually so jealous of how fun and comfortable they looked that he bought himself a pair in a different color (I wish I was kidding). It’s flat out not OK at all when he wears them in public, but who am I to judge.

OUTFIT DETAILS | BRIXON IVY vest via Stitch Fix // Ronny Kobo Riji crop top c/o Shopbop (sold out but love this similar top) // pants from a beach stand in Costa Rica // Aldo fringe booties // fringe bag via Le Tote (<– get $25 off your first tote with that referral link!) // Stephie Chic, Lokai & Alex + Ani bracelets
Tinna Pocket Detail Open Cardigan by RD Style ($68)
My entire closet is black, white and gray clothing so I was pumped when I saw this forced color in my fix. Burgundy is a great cold-weather color and I’ve been wearing this cardigan on heavy rotation since it arrived.

Items I Returned
I sent back a nude colored sweater that was cute but I already own something similar. Now that I’ve used up all my Stitch Fix credit and have to pay for these with real money, gone are the days of YOLO’ing my fixes (haha). I also sent back a black dress. This was the only definite “nope” for me. Just not my style and fit a little too big. It’s a dress I’d wear to an office Christmas party but I don’t see many of those in my future. 😉
Stitch Fix Gift Cards
I know the holidays are over, but next time you have to buy a gift for a fashion lover in your life, keep in mind that Stitch Fix offers gift cards. It’s kinda perfect if you think about it. Instead of guessing what they’d like, let them create a style profile with SF and have one of their stylists choose an array of clothes from which to shop.
Have you gotten any good fixes recently? Which of the three items I kept would you have wanted as well?

I love your faux fashion blogger pics! What I like (and probably what other readers like) is that your style always comes off as cool, yet completely approachable. I am pretty fashion incompetent (except when it comes to workout clothes), so it gives me hope! I love the burgundy cardigan (I, too, wear almost exclusively neutrals) and that scarf. Also: I’m surprised you can pull those pants off but DAYUM. You actually did.
The cardigan and blanket scarf look so comfy – I don’t think I’d want to take them off either!
Love that blanket scarf!
Looks like you got a fabulous box! My box is on its way this month .. can’t wait to see what I got 🙂
Monica.
Why can’t I get fixes this amazing?! Mine never seem to work out at all, so I just buy the accessory so that I don’t throw away the styling fee. I think I’ve given up, but then again when I see your posts it gives me some hope.
You should contact Stitch Fix customer service via e-mail and ask for a new stylist. I’ve heard that works out well for folks not happy with their fixes. Also, try to give a ton of feedback with each item and ideas in your style note for the next one. I’ve been very happy with my fixes over the past year.
I have a pair of similar trousers, really comfy
Such a perfect style.You look so amazing.Love all the outfits!Great post.xx

I love the style of your items; I can never figure out the word to use to describe what I want to my stylist, but you seem to have it nailed 🙂 I love seeing what other fitness-oriented women are into.
What a great box! I just received the vest in my own Fix and have no idea how to style it other than with a tank and skinnies. Any other suggestions?
